11e colloque pluridisciplinaire d’Orsay "Biodiversité : de la Molécule à l'Ecosystème"

La Faculté des sciences d'Orsay de l'université Paris-Sud 11 organise, en partenariat avec le CNRS, son onzième colloque pluridisciplinaire sur le thème "Biodiversité : de la molécule à l'écosystème", en liaison avec l'année internationale de la biodiversité. Il s'adresse à tous les chercheurs, étudiants et personnels.

Des chercheurs présenteront les enjeux et une synthèse de chaque domaine et de leurs travaux sous forme de conférence.

Les étudiants de M2 et doctorants présenteront leur travail sous forme d'affiche, et pourront concourir pour le meilleur poster (avec trois prix de 500 euros) ; cette journée peut être validée en formation post-master. La journée se terminera par une table ronde.

This 5 day training programme aims to provide participants with an overview of knowledge, methods, models and approaches for analyzing the impact of climate change on marine ecosystems and the consequences for society.

It will combine plenary sessions, workshops and round tables on a range of key issues, including:

- Climate, ocean circulation, biogeochemistry and marine ecosystems

- Climate-driven changes in marine biodiversity and the interactions among species

- Impact of global change on marine resources and uses

- Vulnerability and adaptation to climate change in the coastal zone

- Communicating climate change: from information to action

This is an interdisciplinary summer school. We welcome applications from both natural and social scientists (PhD, Post-docs, engineers and researchers) working on topics related to “oceans and climate change” and who are interested in the challenging issue of crossing the barriers between disciplines.
