Conditions for submitting a new thesis project:

1. You may not supervise more than 3 doctoral candidates at the same time

2. You may not have a doctoral candidate in the 4th or more year of their thesis unless the defence will take place before the competition.

3. You must have an HDR (Habilitation pour Diriger la Recherche) or equivalent, or initiate the process for obtaining either the HDR or a (non renewable) dispensation from the university. 4. You may not a doctoral candidate under your supervision who obtained a doctoral contract via the general competition last year.

5. Co-supervision is possible for interdisciplinary subjects between two doctoral schools.
